We are not a licensed contractor ourselves and we do not perform the work. All contractors in our network are independent third parties who are separately licensed and insured in their local jurisdictions.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding contract to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements.
3. Independent Contractors & No Warranty of Work
Any contractor referred by the Service is an independent business, not our employee or agent. We do not:
- Perform, supervise, warrant, or guarantee the work performed by any contractor.
- Set or negotiate pricing between you and a contractor.
- Endorse or verify every representation made by a contractor.
It is your responsibility to verify that any hired contractor holds the appropriate license, insurance, and bonding required in your state and municipality before authorizing any work.
4. Same-Day & Emergency Service
Same-day, 24/7, and emergency service availability is subject to provider participation, geographic location, technician availability, weather, and demand. Availability is not guaranteed and may vary by market and appointment capacity.
5. Photographs & Testimonials
All persons depicted in photos or videos on the Service are actors or stock models and are not necessarily contractors listed on Find Local Repairs. Testimonials reflect individual experiences and are not a guarantee of results.
6. Communications & TCPA Consent
By submitting your contact information through the Service (including phone calls, form submissions, or ZIP-code lookups) you consent to receive calls and text messages from Find Local Repairs and its independent contractor partners regarding your service request, including via automated technology. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of text messages. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
7. Free Estimates
Free estimates are offered where noted and are not binding until confirmed by the contractor in writing. Estimates may exclude parts, permits, code upgrades, unforeseen conditions, or after-hours fees.
8. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Provide false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
- Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to hack the Service.
- Violate any law, regulation, or third-party right.
- Engage in automated data collection (scraping) without our written consent.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on the Service (text, graphics, logos, images) is owned by or licensed to Find Local Repairs and protected by U.S. and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any content without our prior written permission.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THE WORK PERFORMED BY ANY INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FIND LOCAL REPAIRS AND ITS AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE OR THE WORK OF ANY INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR REFERRED THROUGH THE SERVICE. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).
12. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Find Local Repairs, its officers, directors, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.
13. Third-Party Links & Services
The Service may contain links to third-party websites (such as maps, review platforms, or social media). We are not responsible for the content or practices of any linked website.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. You agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Dallas County, Texas, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may modify these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Effective date." Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
